(08/16/08) Thirty-two years of bed-building experience

Hardwood Artisans started building beds thirty-two years ago. Through the years, we have expanded our offerings to eleven different beds, including this airy and elegant Artisan Sleigh bed. (08/09/08) Beautiful sofas, exceptional quality

Hardwood Artisans has several different styles of sofas, chairs and loveseats. The Mackintosh collection was designed by owner and Hardwood Artisans blogger Mark Gatterdam. We also have a new living room collection: the Linnaea Collection, a Danish modern-influenced chair, sofa and occasional tables. (08/02/08) Beautiful and functional

From our popular Waterfall collection, a two-foot high entertainment console keeps the viewing angle reasonable for smaller size rooms. At Hardwood Artisans, we consider the function of a piece of furniture in addition to the form. When there isn’t enough room to sit as far from your television as you’d like, a lower viewing angle prevents the feeling that you’re sitting in the front row of a very large movie theater. For a larger room, a taller console is also available.

(07/27/08) Space-saving solution

For rooms that serve double-duty as an office or living room and a guest room, why not try a Hardwood Artisans wall bed. For guests, especially those who may be sticking around for a while, a Library Wall Bed is much more comfortable than any sofa bed. Beware though: with the included TempurPedic mattress, built-in lights on a touch dimmer and lovely hardwood cabinet, they may not ever want to leave.

Classic Shaker-inspired style make this sideboard and hutch a lovely and functional addition to any traditional dining room. Glass doors on the hutch allow for display, while solid wood doors on the sideboard itself provide hidden storage for china and other dining room accoutrements. When we started building these beds as The Loft Bed Store, they were one of our best-selling products. Hardwood Artisans respects your space (or lack of it). With our corner desks, we are able to tuck a lot of work area into a small space. We have several different sizes, styles and configurations of these corner desks: our little Craftsman corner desk, the larger New American Craftsman desk and the Contemporary corner desk pictured here. All will be created to your specifications depending on how much space you have and how much file storage you need.

Our Flat Screen TV Lift System provides a very high tech way of hiding the TV when not in use. Here, the monitor retracts into a cabinet, a flap closes, and voila! - no TV!
