Flat Screen TV Lift Systems
|
| | The usual solution for hiding TVs used to be to put the TV in an armoire that had pocket doors. This worked well for the older style CRT (tube) TVs that were 22" deep and deeper, and were more or less square in front. The new flat screen TVs are much wider than they are tall (16:9 ratio that is the format of movies, and will be the future hi-definition size). They are likely to be much larger than the old style TVs, and they are, of course, flat. As a result, pocket doors don’t work with these. Our Flat Screen TV Lift System provides a very high tech way of hiding the TV when not in use. Here, the monitor retracts into a cabinet, a flap closes, and voila! - no TV! Available in a simple Shaker style or in the more elaborate Glasgow style, there are numerous ways this piece can be configured depending on your unique needs. With either one or two side cabinets and center units and mechanisms sized to accommodate up to a 50” flat screen, we will surely be able to design one to fit your space and equipment requirements. Remote-driven motor lifts TV out of a trap door in the top. Center unit bookshelves will accommodate CDs or paperback books. Includes flat glass doors. Art glass or beveled glass available.
